Good morning. Now time is 5am.
It is already this late when we were
focused on our packing.
The day has finally come! We have been
preparing for this day since last year and almost half year the day we got visas
in this May. It feels like it’s been a while, but it could have been a short
while.
We are going to leave from Japan at Narita
international airport by a late night flight however we need to fly KIX(Osaka)→NRT(Chiba) first, so we have to leave from our house in this
morning. We will arrive in Romania on 22nd(Wed) at 11am. There is a seven hours
time difference between Japan and Romania so when we got there, it will be 6pm
in Japan. The time it takes to go there is about 28 hours includes layover. Plus
the weather in Romania is like Hokkaido, Japan so it supposed to be really
cold. Be strong in the rain, strong in the wind, strong in the long flight and
in the cold weather.
It is first time to live in abroad for a
long period of time, we are excited and terrified at the same time. We are also
kind of relieved that we can leave this timing.
Probably we don’t get used to the
environment first, but we will do our best and enjoy it. For the time being, we
will focus on make our livelihood in Romania comfortably then we would like to
think about what we can do with our skills and find the purpose there.
In the end, many people gave us kind words.
First I thought it is not a big deal so just leave Japan without saying goodbye
but it was a stupid idea. I’m so grateful that I could meet you guys before I
leave here. Thank you for the presents and farewell parties! I’ll use those for
a special occasion.
